HOW A RECORD IS MADE

  1. Intake. You submit your name, the dates, a short description of what you built, and links to the work.
  2. Review. A person opens the links. They check that you built it, and that the description is honest.
  3. Verification. They open the work itself and confirm it does what you said.
  4. Issuance. A certificate is stored with a unique id, your name, the dates, and the description. Anyone can open the public page.
  5. Renewal. The certificate expires after a year. You ask for another look, or the record goes stale.

Nothing here is issued automatically.
